CONTROLLING YOUR THOUGHTS.
- Your thoughts control your life. What you are today is the result of your thoughts. Just like the foods we eat shape us and make us what we become physically whether overweight or body fit. In the past years, you have been thinking thoughts that have kept you poor. Now I want to show you how to consciously control your thoughts to be rich.
- Never underestimate the power of thoughts. Thoughts are so powerful that just thinking about something you feel it in your body. For instance, think about chewing gums or eating grapes and you immediately feel the saliva flowing in your mouth. That’s how powerful your thoughts are.
- Don’t become a victim of your thoughts but become a victor. Now you will ask me how can I control my thoughts so that I can align myself with God’s plan for me.
There are 4 ways you can control your thought pattern.
1] Read Positive Books.
- A lot of Christians read negative books. Books are not influenced by the Holy Spirit. A negative book can destroy your mind and make you poverty-stricken. Never allow your mind to absorb information from books that causes fear, death, and misfortune. Instead read books on prosperity, success, abundance, and victory. Let your mind be filled only with that information that encourages you to be productive.
- To control your thought fully you have to immerse yourself in positive books. Don’t only read them but also study them and make sure the transformative information provided enters your mind.
2] Practice Auto-Suggestion.
- What is auto-suggestion? Auto–suggestion is saying something to yourself over and over at a given period of time. Auto-suggestion can transform your mind positively. It can help you master the object of riches and be proactive in every situation. You can say things like ‘AM RICH AND WEALTHY’ over and over to yourself. Stand in front of the mirror and declare yourself rich and prosperous. This is so powerful and it will work in ways you can’t even imagine. It will change your thought pattern and give you a far more determined spirit for success.
Words you can use for auto-suggestion are;
- A] More Money is coming to me.
- B] Am a Money Magnet.
- C] I have Money in Abundance.
- D] Wealth and Riches are in my House.
- E] I live in Plenty.
- You can add any other auto-suggestion of your choice. Let it be positive and say them with convictions. Add emotions in your speaking and watch the progress in your life.
3] Visualization.?
- You have to visualize your future with a ready mind for success. Many Christians are ignorant of this. See the future with an open mind. What do you do when you woke up early in the morning? Do you see yourself succeeding during the day or see yourself failing? Numbers 27;12. Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go up this mountain in the Abarim range and see the land have given the Israelites. God is telling Moses to see the future. This is what I will do. See your future positively.
4] Imagination.
- Our Imaginations are so powerful that they have the ability to control not only our present lives but our entire being. You become what you think about most of the time. If you think poverty, you will be poor but if you think riches then you will be rich. God has provided all resources for a child of God to never be poor. Start imagining yourself with the car of your dreams. Imagine yourself with the house, money, and the type of lifestyle you want to have, be, and do. Never for a second think God wants you poor. Let your thoughts and imagination guide you toward prosperity.
