1] Avoid Begging. 

•           Begging brings out the less in you. Begging makes people look down on you. No one respects a beggar. When you beg you lose your willpower and become like a slave to the one you are begging. No matter how tied things are in your life avoid begging at all cost. There is a difference between asking and begging. Ask something from someone if you need but avoid begging at all costs.

2] Avoid Borrowing.

•           Proverbs 22:7, says the borrower is a servant to the lender. When you borrow money from someone you give out your power and independence. Avoid borrowing money from people. Avoid borrowing money from the Bank. When you understand this Biblical truth then you will be stable in your mind and your mental attitude will greatly improve. 

3] Listen More and Speak Less.

•           Too much talking exposes you to a lot of problems. Proverbs 17:27-28, Even a fool is considered wiser when he keeps silent. You must learn to avoid too much talking in the midst of people. Listen more and speak less. Listening more will give you better ideas or make you grasp useful information when they speak but talking more will give the opposite effect. By speaking more, you reveal your plans and objectives to others and they may use it against you.

4] Seek Financial Advice.

•           A man who seeks financial advice is one step towards succeeding in life. Sound financial advice will sharpen your understanding and give you a positive mental attitude. Those who seek financial advice are far ahead of others. Learn from those who have succeeded.

5] Improve Your Skills.

•           You have to improve your skills. As a Christian God has given you the responsibility to work your life and make it the way you want. You are the architect of your destiny. If you stay without doing anything to get better, then you will be broke and poor. Start training and make yourself better.

6] Be Positive About the Future. 

•           A lot of Christians are negative about their future, yet God said in the book of Jeremiah 29:11, I know the thoughts I think towards you, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and hope. You have to be positive about the future. See the future with expectations. Walk to that future with confidence and avoid distractions.
