Football, like any other sport, is an entertainment. We can’t deny the fact that football is the most viewed and most followed sport in the world. We have millions if not billions of people who are glued on their screens when it comes to football.
But what if I tell you that football can actually make you poor and broke. What if I tell you that football actually is a waste of your time while it is the profit of others. Football actually benefits others and makes you poor. I used to be a Football fan, watching all the games until I discovered football can actually make one poor.

1. Waste of your time.
Watching football is just an entertainment but it is a complete waste of your time. You spend all your time on the TV screen watching other people making money while you, the supporter, end the match poorer than when you started watching it. The time you spent watching a full match is a lot. That time could be used productively.
2. Making others Rich.
Do you know when you are watching a football game you are actually making other people rich? The players you are watching will go home with millions while you the supporter will have nothing. The big companies partnering with the teams and competitions make millions of dollars.
3. Watching Rich People.
If after every football game all those who were shouting and supporting could get at least a cent then it would not be bad. But the supporter who bears the heat and sometimes loses his voice and puts their lives at risk gets nothing. I mean you get nothing from being a supporter. You get nothing from watching a football game.
4. 1 Hour 30 Minutes is a lot.
Watching a full football game takes 1 hour and 30 minutes of your life. What a waste. That time you are spending could be used wisely on planning a business or trying to see how you can make more money. Yet you spent all that time watching someone who makes his millions and yet you yourself gets nothing.
5. Football has no Importance to the one watching.
I have heard of people who died while watching a football game. How can you allow yourself to come to the point of losing your life because of others. We have heard of countries becoming enemies because of football. ‘Terrible’. Don’t allow yourself to be carried away with emotions. Secure your life first before even thinking of putting that much time watching others making millions from your eyes.
6. You don’t make money.
My only problem with watching football is that the watcher doesn’t make any money. How can you give your undivided attention to something that does not pay you even a cent. I for one I used to be a football fan until I noticed it does not help me in any way.
7. You lost productive time.
Watching Football makes you lose a productive time. The time you are watching could be the time you are using to sell products online or to see how to increase your sale profit. You could use that time to read a book on money, success, prosperity etc.
8. No one pays you..
The saddest part of all these is that no one pays you. Imagine shouting all your lungs out yet no one pays you. Even if your country lifts up the trophy all that money goes to the players and the coach. You come out zero and a complete loser.

In conclusion, don’t allow football to sink you and drag you down. Football is just an entertainment but you should use your time wisely. Watch the games as you like but never forget as you are watching others are making money from your eyes.
