Four individuals have been accused of human trafficking offenses following the discovery of 15 women in a residence.
Four North Texans have been found guilty of human trafficking after police say they found evidence of them managing companies that enforce forced labor.
On March 13, Princeton police officers went to a residence in the 1000 block of Ginsburg Lane for a normal check and “suspicious activities,” Princeton Police Department officials said in a news release on Monday. What they found in the home of Santhosh Katkoori prompted them to make further investigation and led to a search warrant that was being issued.
15 women were found in the house and it is believed these women were used to work in the companies by force by Katkoori and his wife.
Police people confiscated many apparel like phones, Laptops, and fake documents in the residence.
Other places were also investigated like Princeton and Melissa where many phones were taken and several laptops seized.
