Football: CAF declares Samuel Eto'o innocent in the match-fixing scandal.
- Former Indomitable Lion Captain player Samuel Etoo has been declared not guilty by CAF in the affaire of the fixing of Matches scandal.
- Samuel Etoo who is one of the best players in African football history was summoned by the CAF on the affair of Football fraud. But was later declared not guilty by the CAF.
- Samuel Etoo was accused of favoring Victoria United to the 1st division due to a conversation that was heard on the phone with the Club President Valentin Nkwain
- However, the Jury thought that was not enough proof to justify that he was guilty and was therefore declared innocent and all charges were dismissed. He will therefore continue his mandate as Fecafoot President.
