Pro-independence figures return to Catalonia from exile in Switzerland, thanks to amnesty After over six years of exile in Geneva, Switzerland Marta Rovira who is the general secretary of the Esquerra Republicana returned to Spain with 3 other Catalan separatists who were in exile. They were granted Amnesty after a law was passed on the 30th of May for their involvement in attempted secession in October 2017 Catalan separatist Marta Rovira and a journalist, and activist are now able to return to the country since the Spanish justice system has dropped the charges against them for succession. They are accused of terrorism and rebellion against the Spanish state but all charges have been dismissed. 300 people gathered to welcome them on a Friday afternoon in Cantallops a village situated at the Spanish site of Pyrenees.

This comes at a time when the President Ruto dismissed most government officials and ministers. The Kenyan people are angry about the increased finance bill that the local law enforcement suppressed. Japhet Koome resigned on July 12 2024 and the President Mr Ruto accepted the resignation. On the 25th of June riot erupted and young people stormed the parliament. The police fired live bullets at the crowd and killed some protesters. According to the Human Rights Protection Agency, 39 people have died so far in the protest. The Kenyan police had previously been accused of excessive use of force and extrajudicial killings. Last year, On the 26th the president announced the withdrawal of the bill and the removal of all his cabinet except for the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Vice President.

Please come and marry me. I’m getting old. I don’t want to marry myself. I no longer sleep. I am 39 years old without a child, a husband, and a relationship. I need a man in my life. If you don’t have a job, don’t worry; I will give you food,” she said.

I agreed to his proposal on Thursday, but he left me on Saturday after he met my ex. Although my ex treated me poorly, I now realize it was for the best.  Despite everything, I stayed with him for much longer than I should have. Fortunately, with God’s help, I found the strength to break free from my toxic relationship. Unfortunately, Alex ended our relationship because of it.
