Five Ambassadors hand letters of acceptance to the President
Five Ambassadors recently sent to Yaounde have presented their letters of acceptance to the President.
There was a ceremony that took place at the unity palace on the 2nd of June 2023. The five ambassadors include Equatorial Guinee, Tunisia, Belgium, Korea and Turkey. They were greatly welcomed at the unity palace.
The ceremony took place at 2 pm with the arrival of the ambassadors. They were all treated with honour and the presidential guard gave them good military honour music.
Each Ambassador arrives on his own time. The first ambassador to arrive was the ambassador of Equatorial Guinee Armando Kote. He experience honour and the Cameroon national anthem was sung before he proceeded to the unity palace.
The other ambassadors came later. The Ambassador for the Korean Republic Kim Jonghan, Eric Jacquemin of Belgium, Karim Ben of Tunisia and Volkan of Turkey.
Each Ambassador took his turn to honour the national anthem and to receive presidential honours from the presidential guards.
Many other ministers were present at the ceremony, The minister of External Relations, Mbella Mbella, Samuel Eyolo, and Raymond Jean Charles Abondo.
Before leaving the unity palace the ambassadors received again honours from the presidential guard. The Cameroon national anthem was sung and they left satisfied.
They were satisfied and officially recognized as the official ambassadors for their countries in Cameroon.
