Protest in France as unions resist higher retirement age.
French trade unions organized another day of demonstrations and strikes to try to dissuade President Macrons Pensions overhaul, insisting on changing it even though it has become law.
.French trade unions are resisting the retirement age cut by the French government. Pension reforms have since become law. Hundreds of thousands are expected on the streets.
Those taking part in these strikes and demonstrations insist the fight must go on even though the pension plan has become law.
Though the demonstrations are calming down but still persisted. On the first day, it averages more than a million people all over France. Which have soon seen the numbers reducing to about 600 thousand.
More than 40 – 70 thousand people gathered at the capital for demonstrations on Tuesday to strike and send a strong message to Emmanuel Macron.
A lot of young people took part in the demonstrations and strike. Young people think they will be the most affected by this pension retirement overhaul.
There are been some little broken classes but not violent and the police have been dispatched to ensure security and that every violence should be thwarted.
