FRANCE, 'Knive Attacker did not have terrorist motives
- A man has attacked people on the street in France with a knife wounding them. At first, it was thought a terrorist attack. But it is now evident man did not have a ‘terrorist motive’ says the prosecutor.
- It is really and absolutely a chaotic attack as French president Emmanuel Macron describes this attack that happened. This attack saw two adults and four children injured. Who are now in critical condition and are under treatment.
- The attacker was identified as Abdalmasih H. He is 31 years old and a father of a one-year-old child. He was once a refugee in Sweden and was unknown to the police.
- LINE BONNET ” the weapon that was used for this attack has been seized. It was an open weapon, a knife which is now in the hands of the police.
- According to our findings, he was someone that was not under the influence of Alcohol or cigarettes.
- He left Syria and went to Turkey where he met his wife. His wife and he moved to Sweden. In 2013 he obtained a resident permit but his application for Swedish nationality was rejected. He later moved to France in 2022.
- His EX wife says she is devastated by this attack. In her own words, ‘ He left for France because he could not get Swedish nationality. But I never wanted to leave Sweden so we separated. He has the habit of disappearing.
- Others say he is homeless and has no place to sleep. He was not violent and he was not talking to anyone.
